Of all our long fermentation breads, the Ancestral is undoubtedly the most special. It has its own sourdough and it has no common wheat.
Ingredients:
Water, whole SPELT Flour*, SPELT sourdough*, EINKORN Flour* and Salt.
*From organic farming.
Properties
Dense texture, with golden crust and light crumb. Strong aroma and characteristic flavour of Einkorn with a slight acidity. Ideal for those who appreciate a sturdy bread, which resembles the common Alentejo type bread.
Allergens
Contains gluten. May contain traces of nuts, oat flour (gluten free), peanuts and sesame.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
